I have a pre-refresh 2016 90D. When I open the front driver door more than the first hitch spot, the puddle light turns off, and it acts like it closed (turns off the display inside until I put weight on the seat by sitting down, doesn't roll the window back up when I close it, so I have to manually do that about 50% of the time). It has done this about 2–3 months now. If I only open it to the first stopping point, the puddle light stays on, and it acts normal and I squeeze in. Problem is, I am a big guy, so that isn't that convenient or something I should have to do.
Not sure what could even cause this, unless there is a sensor that is shorting out after you open the door enough. Anyone run into this or have a suggestion to fix before I take it to a service center and pay out the arse?
