Just curious - what's the location? It says it's $5000 to ship to me, so it seems it's on an island somewhere...

IMHO putting down almost $7k is just awful. No one should ever put any money down on a lease. If you drive off the lot and total the car down payment is lost.

I agree. They have terrible lease deals.

When I leased my M5, I came to dealership with no checkbook. EVERYTHING was rolled into the lease including TTL. I would not do it any other way.

Back in March, it was located in New England.

Good point. Playing with zip codes online, that car appears to be in Honolulu now.

This thread is not meant to be a lease vs. buy thread...we have plenty of those already here :) But if someone is in the market and a lease makes sense to *them* for whatever reason and...is based in HI, that's a decent deal.

As for getting every single fee rolled into your lease...some people are willing to pay for that convenience, but it never comes for free.

Normally I would agree but don't you get back $7500 in TAX credit?

Correct, when leasing, the tax credit goes the leasor. To make up this/part of this, I believe the residual value is supposed to be increased by $7,500 thus reducing lease payments...I don't think this is a well documented/regulated/established practice though.
