I've just closed on a Model X P100D and take delivery Thursday. In preparation I am putting up my Model S for a lease takeover.

Pre facelift Model S90D, currently 31,000 miles. Allowable lease miles 50,388. 18Months left on the lease, ending 6/21/2019. Current payment is $956 per month + your states tax. In California this works out to $1,032 per month. Lease pre paid through January 23rd of 2018. Quick lease transfer will result in a few weeks remaining on prepaid lease.

So if you aren't interested in a lease, it's essentially $77k to buy a 2016 90d. Not a bad price, but you have the option of trying to decide if you want it.

Correct. I haven't requested a current buyout from the lease but I believe it is right at $77,000 which is at or slightly lower than avg market price for the make/model currently.
