Not really, one of the falcon wings was overly sensitive and the service center fixed it and it’s been perfect ever since! I live 5 minutes from the Tesla service center in Raleigh so it has been impeccably maintained

It charges to 228 now after 3+ years. With the way I drive and the terrain of where I live (REALLY HILLY) I get about 190-195 driving pretty aggressively. I do a great deal of city driving and this car has been fabulous. range has never been an issue as I have free supercharging for life and a supercharger 2 miles from my house!

This Section 179 aspect of owning a Model X is legitimate.

Had the same call from my Accountant. Said I was better off selling my used X and buying a new one. The tax savings more than offset the depreciation on the first one.

The buyer of my X got a remarkable car, in great shape, with no issues at all.

Classic Win-WIn situation.

I am not sure how you could possibly deduct a full purchase price of a Tesla under section 179. This was a good idea in the past, but IRS has limited this deduction to specifically exclude anything that can be used as a personal car.

Also, according to the VIN it was produced in mid-August 2016- it is AP1.
