    Hello Everyone
Just finished wiring my 9500ix. I did notice range is not what it used to be due to the coating on the windshield.
Does anyone know what area of the windshield is not coated?

I found multiple threads on older Teslas, but not the retrofit model.

Thank you very much for your help

I believe it is all coated. Best to install a 9500ci.

Not too sure on the refresh model, i have heard of issues with toll tags. I would suggest a handheld gps or use your phone to find a good spot. On an android phone, select settings, about device, status, network. It will show network signal as you move it across the windscreen.

I was debating it. Just wasnt sure where to cleanly mount all the receivers since there is no front grill on the refresh

You can still mount it on the front frame behind the bumper plastic.
