103k OTD included you taxes and tag which was probably close to 7-8k. Plus the 7500 tax incentive. Back those two out and your at +/- 87k. Take into consideration depreciation which hits hardest in first 1-2 yrs of ownership. Let's say 15% is a fair number for drive
Off depreciation, is say 75k is a little more realistic. It's also a AP1 car which is less desirable, I'm sure it's not what you want to hear....

Tesla will gladly pay you $70ish K (if the windshield isn't ghosting).
It's a misnomer to infer that "Free Charging" is NO Longer Offered in that there are still quite a few & pre-configured X's that it's still being offered on. Who knows how big that already existing 'free' inventory is. Resale values are not for the faint of heart. but good luck!

Can you explain?
Talked to several owners who wanted to unload, for one reason or another, and our selves included. Fully loaded (minus sound system upgraded) MS deliverd not too many days ago, and Costa Mesa - despite it only having 210 miles on it (150 more than when it was delivered) - offered to buy it back for almost $30K less (not including tax) than what we'd paid. If you took Fed credit & Cali rebate $$ off - then weee !! Only $20K less than paid for. Never mind notions of good will, that you're immediately going to buy another ... never mind they COULD only make $5K or $10K on the turnaround. Nope. That's just the nature of the beast once you hand over the cash, sign papers & drive off.

Sorry, I was referring to the "if the windshield isn't ghosting" part.
I can't seem to un-see it and it is so bad for me that I don't want to drive the car anymore and prefer to give it back if possible.

You would probably get in the $75,000 range via private party. Factors affecting your sale:
- Can't get the 9-10% CA tax back
- Buyers factor in the $7,500 tax credit back that you theoretically received
- AP1 hits the value of the car

Good news is that you paid less than what people are paying now, so you may only lose $5-7k off the value of the car. Also, if you bought the P90D, you would be taking a $35k bath, so count yourself lucky. If you can, hold onto it for a year and you'll probably still get $70-75k.

Here's an X similar to yours but with more features, for $81k.
