Already had some questions on the warranty, so posting this here for everyone:

The Model X is protected by a 4 year or 50,000 miles (whichever comes first) New Vehicle Limited Warranty and 8 year or unlimited miles Battery and Drive Unit Limited Warranty. The car was sold in July of 2016 so the 4 years would expire in July of 2020. This factory warranty is fully transferable to the new owner (extended Tesla warranties available upon request: 2 year extension is $2400 and 4 year extension is $4800).

Just a quick update on the extended warranties, for the X the pricing is $2900 and $5300 plus taxes brings it up close to $5800. The other prices are for the S’s. We added them to our Teslas but actually thought about self insuring for the $15,000 cost on our three Teslas. As an added sales appeal they are fully refundable before they start. GLWS

I pulled those prices directly from MyTesla (see screenshots). Maybe they’ve increased the pricing and I’m grandfathered into the original prices?

Wow very strange, did you buy your car new? my X was a July build also, our S’s show that 4800 price in MyTesla. Do you have an S also? Is that currently showing right now? When our X was new it showed the lower price for a short period of time and said it would increase after 60 or 90 days, can’t remember exactly how long.
