Hi Folks,
Wifey has has Model 3. After 1.5 years and 13,000 miles, it's been flawless. I really like the MS and have been looking to spend in the mid 50K dollars. I'm feeling the need to buy used from Tesla for the 4 year warranty. I've heard the horror stories here and am quite suspicious of the tempting P100D here in Atlanta (previous damage, 2016), and was wondering about reliability and range of a 2017 90D. I really like the premium seats in leather as well. Any help from the brain trust is greatly appreciated.

Personally I would go with the newest and most range Model S within your budget. Leather and sunroof are nice, but range and newer updates tend to be more "useful".

I wouldn't worry too much about previous damage so long as you still get the 4 year/50 K miles warranty.

I bought a 2017 90D from Tesla December 2019. Had 1300 miles on it. I have 8yr unlimited and the 4/50k warranties. Based on the sticker on the pack, I have v3. I have FSD and free supercharging. Paid $62k.

But if I didn’t have v3, not sure if care considering warranty coverage and my plans to keep car for no longer than 4 years. (I drive 8k miles per year).
