For free supercharging for a lifetime of the car, it had to be ordered by January 15, 2017, and had to be delivered by April 15, 2017. If this was ordered before January 15 there’s an outside possibility Tesla did grant it free supercharging and for the life of the car. Otherwise, it reverted to free supercharging during original ownership.

This patchwork is of great annoyance to the prospective used S/X buyer.

If Tesla wanted to really be eco friendly and help preserve resale values and show goodwill, Make all S/X supercharging free again below 75KW speeds and offer a paid speed boost by the minute for as long as the car can pull higher than that.

Couple of things. Car was originally ordered in the fall of 2016. Once the 100D option came out I changed my order. Originally I had to pay to supercharge which is peanuts in cost compared to gas even at todays prices still way cheaper. But within a month they switched me back to free supercharging. I will check on if it is transferable. Any ways still pretty cheap versus gas.

This looks like a great car for a great price.

Regarding transferrable free Supercharging, it will not have it. No Tesla MX or MS 100D (non-P) has transferable free Supercharging. The non-P 100D variants weren't available for order until approximately January 21, 2017. As noted, Tesla added back free Supercharging to these cars later on, but they have been clear that no Tesla MX or MS 100D (non-P) has transferable free Supercharging.

GLWS!
