I requested pictures in a PM a few minutes after he posted the car, yet no response whatsoever. I had to laugh at the silly low offers though. I thought it was even more silly that the offer included I can fly tomorrow to close the deal and drove it back, like he was going to jump on that great offer. Anyone with common sense would pay more that that.

Maybe it was just me but I took that as a snide comment.....not an actual offer to buy at $53k and fly/pick it up next day...but now in retrospect....

I know funny right, that's why I had fun with it and did the Price is Right thing with you....it ridiculous that this forum doesn't have some sort of standards ie must list price or admin removes listing. The boat forum I sub to has that rule and it works really well. No price - no listing. The admins really monitor it, it makes it a much more interactive and worthwhile board.

I won't even go into the folks that put a post here that says "check my ebay auction..." with little else.

The I can purchase this week is only meant to show I am a serious buyer that is at least looking for a counter offer or to discover what ball park the seller is in. It is not more of a snide comment than I have cash and am ready to purchase. My experience watching this forum for the last month is it is full of people that are sniping at sellers and buyers and not placing bids. So if you want to say I am snippy that is fine with me. I am a cash buyer and ready to buy at the right price but not willing to bid against myself. At least on ebay I can set my bid and how much I want to raise my bid when outbid and what my final offer will be. Here you just want someone to say here is a pot of money come and get it and give me your car without sending any pics or responding to any of the PMs I have sent or as it appears that others have sent. The only two people that even made an offer were DMZConstr and myself.
