    Hello all,

I am trying to look at the contents of a log from a 2017 Model S. I copied the contents of the sdcard from the CID module where I find this:

    <DIR> chg_wvfm
    0 dir.txt
    <DIR> dtc
    16.322 hwidacq.log
    439 hwids.acq
    439 hwids.txt
    <DIR> log
    45 manexcep.txt
    203.225 map.tsv
    0 modhwid.log
    1.980 modinfo.log
    10.726.087 release.tgz
    0 SERVICE.upd
    74 versions.acq

Inside the log directory there is a binary file called 0.log. However the file does not seem to have the structure that is described in Tom Saxtons documentation. I tried all available log parsers on it but they all fail. So it seems that this log has another format. Is there any information on it available?

    Best, Oliver

Could be a .tar.gz file; perhaps try adding that extension and extracting it?

If you open the file in a hex editor and share the first few bytes I might be able to help more..

Handling as tar.gz or tar does not work. First Bytes are:

    AA 00 00 2F 00 00 D0 00 07 DE 58 2E D7 00 01 73
    04 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
    00 00 00 00 00 00 00 FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF A5

There is also a log.cfg file. It starts with:

    logFilterVersion 1
    fileIsReload 1
