2017 Model X 100D 6Seat AP2.5 & Root...

Listing my baby up for sale. No issues and just had the TSB on vibration of front half shafts done so she is good to go. Pics and window sticker here. I have a draw tite hitch and the trailer harness that I haven't put on it yet, had the SC enable the tow package though. I could have done it myself as this car is rooted but I wanted it to be official just in case it ever had to go in. Few minor blemishes here and there as I do have kids and I do use the car. Will post those soon as I need to get close up shots. Just over 62k miles so we will start at $78k or make me an offer.

Few more details.. 90% charge sits at 255 miles rated range (rated range for Model X assumes 332whr/mile consumption) and 100% is at 283 miles rated range. Full battery nominal as reported by BMS is 94.3kWhr of capacity, since new ones sit at about 98kWhr this represents about a 4% degradation over new. Pretty solid for 62k miles.

$91-$97k depending on if you want FSD or base AP. This one has EAP which you can’t buy anymore. The new one has ~45 miles more range and adaptive suspension.

I priced it out with FSD and it came to $97k. I don't think EAP has all the features that FSD does, but I could be wrong.

Also, the range difference is 30 rated miles (325 - 295).

So essentially, the seller is discounting the car around $20k for 62,000 miles, older suspension, and 30 miles less range.

I don't see it bringing nearly that much, but folks are free to ask what they want.

You are correct EAP is base autopilot + NOA + autopark/smart summon. Doesnt include the HW upgrade to 3.0 or full self driving features.
The 100% charge on this X is 283 per above. So 325-283=42 less mile of range. I was a little high at 45 but definitely more than 30 mile difference.

Sorry for the dumb question, but if the car is rooted, does that mean it doesn’t get s forward updates? How does it affect the warranty?
No implications for service/upgrade. It has been in since having this done and there have not been any concerns. I still get software updates from Tesla quite regularly, it's on 2019.32.2.2 now which is the latest non early access build. I say this as v10 is in the "second ring" of early access, also known as those who paid for FSD. If someone didn't intend to use any of the features/advantages of root then I can restore it to stock very easily.

I also realize the price is likely high given Tesla's recent changes in pricing/bundling and improvements. But it is a starting point. As noted, feel free to make an offer. I'm not easy to offend!

Well, if we're going to compare apples to apples, we need to compare the rated range when both were new, since the new one will also see a range loss over 62,000 miles. Range loss is no different than other wear and tear on a vehicle over 62k miles - it's a product of it being used. Pointing out that it has less range (the portion due to it having 62k miles) would be like saying, "the new Model X has nice, clean unused seats and the used one is a little worn and discolored. Any type of degradation of the car since new would be accounted for when we take into account it has 62,000 miles, and reduce for its mileage.

Now, all things being equal, the new one is designed to have an additional 30 miles of range. So, when it also has 62,000 miles on it, it should still get 30 more miles of range than this pre-raven model. So, the 30 extra miles of range is unaccounted for when we take the 62,000 miles into consideration for the car's value.

T,

Do you have this advertised anywhere else? I know a family looking for a model x that's not a part of the forum.

Thanks
