I'm curious as to how the market for a used MX works. Are they not deprecating much at all? Based on MSRP - Incentives, your asking price of $77K is only deducting $2700 for 24K miles of use. If that's what the market demands, that's awesome resale value - much better than a MS?
Are the seats fold-flat or the old bucket style? (Also, if you want to get a Model 3LR instead of a 3P, I'd be happy to trade you)
That's what I've been thinking as well. Even on Tesla's website, they have a variety of Model X's past 20k miles and they're STILL expensive.I'm curious as to how the market for a used MX works. The "bucket" pedestal style seats are not an "old" style, they are a current design. You get the better upgraded pedestal "bucket" seats when you upgrade the seating package to the 6 seat configuration, that’s a $6,000 upgrade now. The pedestal style was only available before on the 6 or 7 seat option. They now have a slightly different bench style center row if you opt for the 5 or 7 seat configuration, (7 seat upgrade now reduced to $3,000 with the bench seat). In my opinion the new 7 seat is the most versatile but the pedestal 6 seat is the most upscale looking. Eventually I imagine the $6,000 6 seat option will be discontinued due to the higher cost above the 7 seat. Tesla does offer an optional rear console in the 6 seater version at no additional charge above the $6k.Are the seats fold-flat or the old bucket style? Yeah the buckets are not great for utility if you need to haul cargo. For me I have other options to carry long items and use the X primarily for carrying people and for that the buckets look much more upscale and work nicely. I actually use our S to carry some bulky items and surprisingly it does carry an incredible amount of volume in that cavernous rear.I did not know that! Thanks for the information - it definitely helps clear up some minor confusion I had on the seating arrangement. Although I don't know why anyone would want a non-bench seat...the bucket seats have been nothing but a PITA in my X.
That is a very fare offer. It looks like you might be on the short end of the stick though. Your X is priced very fare as far as X’s go and the LR3’s are now steadily working down below $50k with lots and lots of them for sale with virtually no miles on them.Might consider trading for a LR Model 3. (Your Model 3, + $25k)
