Hey folks, we have a black model S 90D. Essentially, we bought the car and then found out we have another child on the way and life will be hard with the S and four kids. The only option on the car is EAP but it is a post August build and has air suspension and AP2.5 hardware. I’m in the military and out of the county until the 20th so pictures will have to wait until then. We are asking $82,000 obo.

Please check the Tesla Link. Today’s Brand New Car Price for Model S 100 D is:
Model S 100 D $94,000

Premium Upgrade Package $5,000

Enhanced Autopilot $5,000

Full Self Driving Capability $3,000

Sub-Total $107,000

Federal Tax Credit $7,500

Total $99,500
What are you getting at? My asking price is $82,000 which is 10,000 under the original MSRP.

I have some advice for the seller, dont sell you car here - there too many people with agendas on this forum. I would start with eBay - thats how I have bought four cars including my P85+. I also sold my 2013 P85 and I also cross posted here and got the usual aspergersque comments that didn't help me sell the car here. You get the angry Model 3 folks, who wish they could afford and S and they will just peck you to death on price, but want a Tesla and are #495,000 in line and might a get a 3 in late 2020.

eBay will give you a realistic market check (on the lower side), When I bought my P85+, I bid over 90 days never changing the price and in the end the private seller sold me the car within $200 of that price. There are also many others that I have bid on and they never accepted my price. I would also tell you to move quickly as the 2 or 3 year window is approaching when alot of Refresh 90D's are coming off lease and it will be a buyers market, so try and sell before March. I'm in NOVA and a retired military, I wish you luck, there is a guy here in Virginia that has a fleet of Model S,s for a Turo or Uber-like business, your car would qualify as he only get Black on Black.
I bet he would be interested in your car. I want to say he is from Romania or Bulgaria, he was in the Washington Post recently. I will try and post the article.

Never mind - it looks like he got busted -http://www.novinite.com/articles/126928/Ex+Bulgarian+Diplomat+Son+Charged+in+US+over+Weed+Empire+-+NYPost

Here are the recent sales on eBay to give you a better market idea on pricing. Not saying this is perfect, but its what i used to gauge bid price. You also have to be careful, a lot of the auto dealers have no idea how to list these cars and you need to run the vin by Tesla to get the details on what the car actually has.

These are sold listings or bid ended for 2016 and 2017's: tesla s in Cars & Trucks | eBay

I think you are in the right spot on pricing, the last 90D that sold on eBay was Nov 29th with 38,000 miles, it sold for Or best offer < $79K and was a 2016 model.

I have been watching for a P100D, once they drop down into the low $80's, I will buy one.
