2017 VIN Model X Order and Delivery

Got good news today, my MX has entered production!

My Tesla is complete. My new estimated delivery is May 09 to May 23!

Original estimated delivery May-early June

My DS informed me that my vehicle is expected to go into production around the middle of May. Best case is the end of week 2, but most likely the start of the third week. Best case, the time between order confirmation and start of production is seven weeks and most likely it will be eight weeks.

The question is the time in production and then time to get to vehicle to the Montreal CS. The current estimate is late May to a June. Based upon the information procided by my DS, I cannot see late May even an possibility. My guess right now is the middle of June best case which would translate into three months from order to delivery.

When I ordered, the website was indicating May delivery but now it looks like June. Does thist mean, that Tesla will fall short of their 1st quarter performance?

And as of this morning, MyTesla shows "Your Tesla is currently in production". Estimated deliver range remains "Late April - may".

Today I got the "Production Complete" email, and delivery range updated to 4/24 - 5/9. Can't wait

I didn't get one Tesla email on my X - just a vm from my sales manager saying " niiiiiiiiikewings, its heeeeere!" Loved the surprise.

Congratulations! My MX is in transition and I have scheduled the delivery with my DS for 4/29. That would be 6 weeks from confirmation to delivery.

Production Scheduled: April 10
Production Started: March 27
Production End: April 3
Delivery Area: Dubai, UAE

The original information I received from my DS regarding the production start date was inaccurate. Production didn't actually begin until April 17th (MyTesla updated to "in production" but no e-mail, on the 19th that status changed to BIW (body in white) according to my DS, and I got the "production complete" e-mail on Saturday night (April 22nd). Estimated Delivery Range is June - Early July according to MyTesla.

Yes, depends what ship it's loaded on. There are some that do Newark/Houston to Dubai in 4 weeks, and some that take up to 8 weeks.

OK. I'm in the same boat as 3s-a-charm. About the same confirmation date and awaiting VIN. So, if you confirmed on the 10th, then we should expect our VINs in... 17-18 days? Maybe we'll use that as a ballpark number. I was told by the DS it would be early Feb build, and if I back that up 6 weeks that's about the last week in Dec so it might be about right (they say you get your VIN about 6 weeks prior to production).

I received my VIN 4 days after my order was placed.

Odd. I ordered 10 days before you and got a 47XXX VIN. My delivery is June, early July. I got a 100D... Does build influence production start?
