Ok. Another update to MyTesla today. Estimated Delivery Range has been updated to June 4, 2017 - June 18, 2017 at the Montreal SC. Getting closer!
You're giving me hope. I've got a 50XXX VIN too, my sales specialist said it'll probably be end of May to June. MyTesla still says June to July and order sent to factory.

You're giving me hope too, jasmodex. My order is the same as yours except the exterior color and I got six seat with center console.
I'm also quoted late May-June but the DS says early June. I confirmed a few days before you but I'm not in production yet though! You are lucky!

It think yours should be soon. My car finished production on May 13 and in transit now. My DS said it should be in NY very soon.

Ok. Things are moving fast. After having an updated estimated delivery range this morning, the car moved from in production to in transit! Here's the currant summary:

MyTesla changed last night, my Model X is still showing in production, however the estimated delivery range to the Montreal SC was updated to June 5, 2017 to June 19, 2017.

MyTesla is now showing that my Tesla is built and in transit from the factory. The delivery range is still showing June 5, 2017 to June 19, 2017 to the Montreal SC.
I would agree with you that our vehicles will likely be on the same shipment.
I am hoping that they arrive closer to the June 5, 2017 date or ideally a little earlier as I will be flying to Montreal to pick-up my vehicle and driving home and I have no flexibility from June 7 to 15.

No, don't bet on it. These things are subject to long lasting contracts with the supplier, in this case Panasonic. They will be using the old batteries in the MS and MX for the foreseeable future. Besides, the new batteries are longer so there probably has to be some design changes in order to fit new battery packs underneath the MX and MS
Right, they have said 2170 was for storage (powerwall/powerpack) and Model 3. I have to wonder if they will retrofit a 2170 case for MS/MX next year. There is a purchase contract in place btw T/Panasonic in that they are supposed to buy minimum cells of 1.8 Billion count through end of 2017 (contract is 2014-2017). So, larger cells lower the "count" purchased and cars use the most cells, so 18650 seems appropriate through end of 2017.
Elon Musk (at the last Earnings Call) indicated that both X and S would be getting the 2170 batteries before the end of this year.
