We ordered our 60D in August for March delivery. Ours has a G right now....not terribly concerned about the H as we are just happy to get lucky with the 60D.

Having your credit >30 days apart shouldn't be too bad, should it? Small modest fee maybe. Is it really that bad?

The issue is getting a second hard credit pull could lower your credit score causing your interest rate to be higher, or even getting declined for the loan. (It has happened to at least one person.)

Any 2017 VIN in production?

My 2017 VIN entered production yesterday as well. Tesla is trying to get more delivery for this quarter I think my DS called and even told me that delivery might happen next week I don't want them to rush and get poor quality control.

No, our LEAF lease isn't up until May so we wanted to push out delivery as far as possible.

After I spoke to my DS yesterday, mine just got updated with an H this morning.

I ordered a P100D on December 11, and it was confirmed with a "G" VIN on Monday morning of this week. (Delivery scheduled for late February-March.) I was all set to ask them to change it (I'd somehow managed to get a little worked up about it for no real reason), but as of this morning, it had changed over to an H on its own. It does seem like this will sort itself out if people just wait it out.

And just like that ours changed to a H. No phone calls or emails requesting it. I'm sure it's just the databases updating themselves.

If they really build it right now, then sure. But given the date, that seems somewhat unlikely. Was it already in production?

Yes it has been in production since 12/8 but just moved to H today.

Mine is in production and yes H 2017 and they are targeting next week delivery. I know they want more cars for this quarter hence the earlier delivery, I was supposed to take the car on Feb 2017

I thought we weren't supposed to care about model year for Tesla cars.... why does everybody want a 2017?
