Yes, I got my VIN on 10/15. The day after I posted wondering when I would get it. I was just a bit too impatient.

Ok great! Mine order was confirmed 5 days after yours so I guess I should get mine within a week also.

My order for a 100D confirmed yesterday with Dec/early January estimate. I emailed the delivery specialist regarding VIN timing and to see if delivery in Fremont would shorten the wait much... Her response was the VIN should come in a few days and that factory is targeting vehicle readiness for 12/16 - of course subject to change.
Humm, wonder what's happening. I confirmed Sept 12 and now mytesla delivery estimate changed to February. It was saying early December when I confirmed. Car is not in production yet.
Reading your post makes me think that there is still hope for my car to arrive this December or January as we have the same status. I have that staus days after my order was confirmed last October 7 and up to now it still says planned for production and estimated delivery will be at February to March.
I emailed Delivery team here in Norway and they said that it seems my car does not have any slot for production before DECEMBER.I was literally shocked with this info since normal delivery time here in Norway is around 3 months.
It may seem as a glitch in the system. Let us see this coming weeks. Will uodate here when necessary.

I didn’t get mine.i also ordered a blue, but 75d. If I have to place bets, I say early to mid December too. Ideally I would like to have it before thanksgiving weekend
Got our VIN today: 74xxx. Blue 100D ordered 10/4, confirmed 10/7. DS is saying delivery is targeted for around 11/24 in Rocklin, CA...now if only our baby's due date wasn't the same day...

Interesting 11/24 delivery, as our estimated finish of production is 11/20 for a 9/18 confirmed 75D with low 73xxx. Still waiting on it to enter production. Was supposed to be this week was what I was told.
Part of it could be transit time, right? Net delivery time difference for our orders is about 1.5-2 weeks and I live less than two hours from the factory in Fremont.
Man, jealous of you guys. Ordered mine (X100D) on 10/3 confirmed 10/5 and still waiting for the VIN. But I'm guessing it could be coming any day now.
Keep checking your Tesla account. I never received an email with my VIN. It was just suddenly listed on my vehicle details.
Got a call today from our OA that two cars recently added to inventory match our custom build. They appear to be new cars, manufacturered in late September and available for delivery in 2 weeks with less than 50 miles. They aren't showroom models or anything like that. Woohoo!
Order at 10/15, MX 100D Black with six seater, Confirmed at 10/16, VIN showed up @10/18, it is 74***, expected delivery around December 12.
