Received 2018.26 this afternoon and installed it. The update took around 20'. Will go for a ride to test autopilot and check if phantom braking is still happening !

I ended up rebooting the MCU 2x in a row and it resolved my map tile loading issue on my next trip.
(The first reboot resulted in a never ending sonar chime even though I wasn’t near anything, the second time “fixed” everything ;-) haha)
Our 2017 Model S had a notification for a software update this morning, but we didn't have time to update and test.
Anyone get this update as well? Anything worth noting?

Yes, it's nothing. Steering wheel grabbing info, the speed limiter and something else. At it takes about 20 minutes not an hour.
Wasn't that in the last update? I already have the update with updated AP notifications and speed limiter via phone app.

This is just another way to put it into Max Battery Mode for the full launch effect...it's not really an Easter Egg but a shortcut of sorts...rather than opening settings, etc.Thanks, I didn't know the P cars had their own egg (I assume that's what that is.... ).
And, if something as 'major' (you know what I mean) as a nag timing change is involved, you'd think it would be a quicker rollout.. perhaps we are the testers, even more so than usual, to see how much we screw up with a different timing!

Any change in behavior related to phantom braking? Rumor was they worked on it for this seemingly wide-release update.
I haven't driven enough to say. Will tell you in a couple of hours after the morning battleground.
My MS did play a lot of PAC-man with the reflectors on the inside of curves, had to cancel many times. The stopping behind stopped cars was very smooth and improved. The straight line driving was very much improved when passing intersections, I had no phantom braking.
The last version 2018.24 got phantom breaking at the same location right before going under a bridge every time. Very dangerous if cars behind aren’t expecting a drastic slowdown. Haven’t been there since the update. Hoping that is fixed.
Want to add that .18 also had the braking also. Not sure if .14 had it. Think my car came with .14.
