That’s odd, Premium Connectivity transferred for me, along with homelink when I bought my 2018 Model 3 from Carvana.
Sadly, Tesla changed that policy.

I think that’s cars purchased from Tesla though, no? I don’t think that pertains to purchases from a third-party or private seller.

If you know of a case where free premium connectivity has transferred to a new owner "recently", that would be interesting. However the Tesla policy seems to make it quite clear that it is the ownership transfer, that triggers the monthly subscription for connectivity.
