Yep - FUSC not transferrable. Asking $70,000 to start - hard to find comps out here.

Heard from Tesla - looks like $60,000 is more inline with current resales.

list of all services performed by Tesla: left fender camera was loose, fixed, left headlight had some dead LEDs, fixed, FSD computer upograded to 3.0, yellow-edged main screen, fixed. No scuffs, 1 very minor dimple in the hood where my wife hit a buzzard - pic attached. Interior pics attached.

Don't know how Tesla handles trades with anyone else, but my first offer was $56k, expired after 30 days. Second offer was $51k, expired after 30 days. Final offer was $52.6, executed on Aug 27th.

Texas charges 6.25% sales tax and value of trade-in is not taxed. Net to me is 6.25% more than trade-in value.

This was the type of deal to hope to find all the time; private party that would be a $56k sell to recoup your trade-in value. The sad part is Tesla or any used dealership will now turn around and list it for $65k with no actual history.

I will try to always buy from private party when I can.
