Those uncapped aero wheels look great!

I know what you mean but they're actually capped with this kit:

Model 3 Aero Wheel Cap Kit

I just got my cap kit in the mail Friday and I get my Model 3 June 5! -- first thing is those big caps are coming off and this small cap kit is going on. But for road trips the large one go back on for more range. I really like how that works.

With this one you get the cap kit that is back ordered and takes "at least 8 weeks" to get. GLWS.

This really isn't that hard. if you want the car now, make a reasonable offer. If you want the tax credit too, wait and then you can buy the car yourself. The OP has zero obligation to factor in his tax credit if he/she can even use it.

The question was directed at the OP... thanks for stopping by though.

Or pay $1000 to anyone willing to sell their reservation, get the car you want and the tax credits. Why would anyone pay full price for a used car when a new one is cheaper is weird.

I don’t think the buyer can get tax credits as he/she will technically be a 2nd owner (the seller shouldn’t either as that would be considered fraud). Unless you co sign on the title in which case need a trustworthy seller. Perhaps I’m wrong, something might have changed recently.
