2018 Tesla S 75D charge limit has increased

I have a 2018 Tesla S75. During the time I've had it (since new) the 100% charge limit has been about 240 miles. I'm charging it now and the max limit appears to be 252 miles. I'm glad about this but I'm wondering how this changed.

Is it possible that your mileage display changed from "Rated Miles" to "Ideal Miles"? That could cause something similar to what you're seeing.

You might know this already given you've owned the car for several years, but anyway... Both "Rated Miles" and "Ideal Miles" are approximations, and might not actually correspond to the distance you can travel using the energy in the battery pack.
