Great question, I very politely asked Tesla via the app. I never got confirmation of anything... but somehow I got 2019.12 I still can’t believe it!

8.5 is what the majority of the fleet is still on... only a very tiny percentage has .12 and new rollouts have been very few (and 8.5 continues to roll out too to the large % of the fleet on older versions)

To be more precise, as of right now (1:57 PM, Sunday April 14, 2019), TeslaFi is reporting the following for Model 3 software versions:
- 2019.12 -- 41 (1.6%)
- 2019.9 -- 34 (1.3%)
- 2019.8.6 -- 71 (2.7%)
- 2019.8.5 -- 1995 (75.6%)
- 2019.8.4 -- 215 (8.1%)
- 2019.8.3 -- 150 (5.7%)
- 2019.8.2 -- 3 (0.1%)
- 2019.8.1 -- 1 (0.0%)
- 2019.7.11 -- 3 (0.1%)
- 2019.5.25 -- 3 (0.1%)
- 2019.5.15 -- 79 (3%)
Keep in mind that these data reflect what's in TeslaFi's database, which is a tiny subset of actual Model 3s. Also, I manually copied the data over, so I may have mis-typed something.

Another way to get it is this:
- Like the last 5 tweets by Elon
- Do the T dance twice with the T facing south then once with the T facing north. (Outdoors is recommended, from personal experience in the livingroom it doesn't work well).
- Connect your Tesla to WiFi. You have 10 seconds after you finish the dance to do so.

VERY few have .12 and rollouts have been almost non-existent for days (while 8.5 continues to be pushed out in much higher #s)
