Let's hope not. The legislation says 'the current closed-circuit view of any part of the vehicle or the area surrounding the vehicle' (emphasis added), so TD has grounds to object. That said, the Tesla dashcam feature requires a model 3 or very recent S/X to function anyway.

Someone tried to put an alternative mp4 file in the folder and it works! (without sound, lol)
