2020.12.6 update...????

I was just notified and am in the process of installing 2020.12.6, I was on 2020.12.5 on my 2019 MXP Raven. I cannot find anyone on here or TeslaFi with that version.

Anyone else get this? Wondering why I didn't get 2020.12.10....

Seeing some posts about it on Reddit. Most interesting is that some folks who were on the EAP version with Auto-stopping 2020.12.5.7 are being updated to 2020.12.6 Currently being updated to 2020.12.6 : teslamotors

Makes me wonder if Auto-stopping is out of EAP, or if Tesla decided too many people were given early access and are removing it from some people.

EDIT: OP in that Reddit thread now says that the Auto stopping is contained in 2020.12.6, and is presumably out of Early Access.

Just got 2020.12.6 it has traffic light stop sign beta. Before enabling it requires latest map download as well.

I think navigation updates trigger in the same way as other software updates. Click on the "Software" tab and it should automatically say "Checking for updates..."

Thanks for the quick reply. I received the same. It automatically updated the maps and allowed me to enable the feature. Going for a test drive in a few mins.

Folks will want to know if autosteer would let you go 5 over the limit on non-divided highways. In 2020.12.5.6 it was set to not allow going over the speed limit at all.

According to this poster 2020.12.6 2020.12.6 also limited non-divided highways to the speed limit.

I downloaded an hour ago. The maps happened after the software had finished (I didn’t see that happening). Just went for a quick drive. It works great for stop signs!!

Only if auto stopping at lights/stops is enabled. Mentions it in the release notes

It is still limited to the posted speed limit. I could not get it to go 5mph over like with previous versions.

2020.12.6 is the public release of 2020.12.5.7 with stop light and stop sign stopping. Presumably 2020.12.10 was from a different branch, I think these version numbers are just automatically created by Tesla's system.

I updated to 2020.12.6 and did a test drive. It won't go 5 over while on autopilot, just the speed limit. It notifies you 500 feet from a red light that it is slowing then stops very comfortably. When the light turns green, it doesn't start on it's own, but goes when you touch the accelerator or cruise knob.
