Having given up on voice control for a while now, I attempted to use it this morning. I can report that all commands work. Climate control settings and all. EVERYTHING now works.

Seriously......my voice commands are now working.
Not sure this was what fixed it but I was sat at a charger, messing around with the settings; I changed the language from english to French, this led to a system reboot. I then changed back to english, leading to another reboot. I then thought to mess around with voice commands and voila...it worked and has been working well all day. I know this does not make sense but that was what I did prior to voice commands working.

Oh fantastic, I'm UK too - just in Oz on holiday just now, found it so weird being back in an ICE car

I'm in the UK too, and my voice commands have also started working – even 'show the rear camera'! Still at 2020.4.1

Ah, it'll be the "voila" ... you have to speak to it in French now!
