Hey guys... having some first world problems here. My Model Y LR AWD "Open Glovebox" voice command isn't working. Anyone else having this issue?

My Model 3 SR+ had the same update last night but was unaffected and works perfectly with this command.

I noticed the same thing while test driving a Model Y ("command not recognized"). I figured it was due to the outdated version the test drive car was running, but your post leads me to believe it's just not in the Model Y for whatever reason.

I don't believe that "feature" is part of the model Y software set yet...was not part of the software earlier and I haven't seen it as part of any update....

Model Y has never had that feature.

When I tried it it acted like it knew what I wanted but just wasn’t going to do it.

It said it ain’t doing it yet

That’s the downside of ota software updates, withholding features so they can be. “Added” later...

It hasn’t worked on the Model Y yet, I checked it after 40.3, still a no go.

To add to the confusion, the Model Y owner's manual had the example of using your voice to open the glovebox back in March but the owner's manual has since been updated and that example removed.

So strange as it’s the same glovebox and MCU as the M3. I wonder why they haven’t enabled it?
