2020.40.8 for Performance

Anyone noticing that 2020.40.8 literally added 0 additional miles to your max range? I’m at 270 miles on a full charge before the update and it stayed exactly the same post. I’ve had the car since late March with now 7k miles.

Ditto. I'm at 275 full charge before and after the update. Makes no sense since MYP is now rated for 303 miles (up from 291) on the order configuration page.

Just did the update on my M3 Performance (September 2020 build)

0 range increase.

No mention of increased 0-60 speed either.

Mine went up by 2 miles only. Not the increase I was expecting.

Stop worrying about what's displayed there as it's a non-sense number. If your average Wh/mi has gone down since the update, then the update has done its job.

I still haven't gotten the update to know on my Y PUP.... not a data point just venting

No change for me as well. Haven’t driven much since the update so cant say if it changed something from behind the scenes. For whatever reason I enjoy seeing the number. The biggest downside of the Performance Y was the initial 280 range. I’ll be much happier when it shows 303

It looks like only 5 MYPs on Teslafi have gotten the update since Tuesday evening. Maybe Tesla will decide to go ahead and update those of us at still at 2020.40.3 to 2020.4.

41/135 perf’s are on .3, 94/135 are on .8, no idea what goves and why they wont push it to all the perf’s. Sitting on .3 here.

Mine too (and I don't drive it mildly) Funnily enough I named my car Y Not!
