About 3 blocks from my house in a residential neighborhood I had this close encounter with a deer. Right-hand video is the front camera - you can watch it approach and then "bounce" off and pick up on the left camera view. Notably, the Tesla Model 3 did NOT do any braking on its own. Neither cruise control nor auto-pilot were engaged but I do have the driver assist levels set to max. I was only going about 25-30 MPH at the time. Thankfully, and surprisingly, there was no visible damage to the car.

Would you expect the Tesla Model 3 to brake in this situation?
