2020 Model Y: Acceloration Boost and Low Regen Braking

Hello Everyone!

Just wanted to confirm that if: I purchase the acceleration boost for my 2020 long range Y, I will keep the ability to select Low Regen Braking.

Not necessarily; it depends on when your Long Range Model Y was built. Model Y vehicles built after August/September 2020 do not have the ability to select Low Regenerative Braking. Tesla never explained why Low Regenerative braking was removed from Model Y vehicles built later.

He stated his is equipped with regen braking. Buying acceleraction does not remove anything.

If you are buying a used Model Y, from Tesla, i.e. Tesla has title to the vehicle then Tesla can, will remove the AB if the feature was purchased by the previous owner. If this is a private sale, not through Tesla and the Model Y has the AB then it should convey when you purchase the vehicle.
