Maybe but one listing on eBay does not necessarily represent the actual market for a particular car.

Another eBay auction for an MY LR with 6,500 miles and original MSRP of $57,190 ended June 15 with high bid not reaching $50k.

Which better reflects the current market? There's just not enough data to tell.

The other eBay reality is that even "winning" high bids do not necessarily result in an actual sale at high bid price due to bogus bids, bidder backing out due to financing/cash or other issues, etc.
