2020 MYP Retrofitting Pedestrian Warning Speaker Question

Hey Everyone!

Curious if anyone has successfully had their 2020 Model Y retrofitted with the PWS speaker? My MYP is a VIN 34XXX, I had read about a retrofit kit that is available by contacting your service department. After contacting them explaining my request, I received this as a response...

"Hello from Tesla Service. We are not yet offering the pedestrian speaker retrofit, please check with us about this upgrade in 90 days"

Is this response due to trying to meet Q4 deliveries? Supply chain issues?
They simply don't want to?

I checked underneath and I have the grille cutout for the speaker, but not 100% if the harness is there or not.

Up dated mine a few months ago. My SC charged me $95.

Installing the speaker and harness appears to be pretty easy, the firmware update is something that I would need the SC to do, unless it autodetects it on reboot.

I did mine several months ago as well. For me, more like a few hundred but worth it.
