Love it ... I would argue that spoiler is functional for downforce and the exhaust keeps carbon off the rear deck lid window

I don't know. The ducktail spoiler, sticky out exhausts and shark gills don't seem to do much harm as superflous design elements

No, they are (were) very functional for that inefficient fossil burner. Great in the day. What a sound!

Wiper blades on planes are for runway use only.
At hundreds of miles per hour the wind is much faster and better.
Gives me an idea - perhaps that Model 3 dash air vent could be used on the outside??

Even Boeing 767 below with a cruise speed of 529 mph has traditional windshield wiper positions.

I cannot speak for the pilots of 767s, but when I fly a light plane through rain I don't need windshield wipers, the rain comes off just fine on its own, and I'm looking at the instruments anyway, not out the window. The wipers are for taxiing to the gate.
