im still waiting on final invoice but got delivery date of 16th and my reg so at least i have been able to get everything else sorted.

Call tesla up. Chance are someone forgot to tick a box. I called them up and within 20 minutes had my final invoice on the account main screen

Just received final invoice for car (on Asian King). Ooch!!!!

Asian King detailed at arriving at Southampton 02:00 12th Mar. Will they really make it sit out in the sea until Fri 13th Mar 20:30?

The planners are tweaking the port schedule all the time to appease the opposing forces. We don't know the reason for the delay - perhaps they haven't delivered enough from the dock to make space for ASIAN KING's cargo. At the moment it's still Friday afternoon though.

Removal of EV grant is only for future orders through the government portal. I would hope Tesla applies for the grant when the car was ordered.

I’d agree but it’s “money” and they are good at that, so I’m hoping we are covered

Tesla have confirmed with a few people that they apply for it roughly 4 days after you give them all the information online.

I am so glad I already ordered and did not wait for battery day. Of course, I may change that view after battery day.

I see the GLOVIS CAPTAIN has now increased her speed to 16 kts. With 1600nm to run that at least makes the maths easy - ETA now back to 15 Mar PM.

Do we think that it’s possible ASIAN KING may get an earlier slot? They’re picking up some speed, either that or they don’t know that they’ve been pushed back. I would’ve expected them to go slow and save some fuel if they’re not due in for a while and would end up anchoring?

I've just checked again - still Friday PM.
Another ship, the MONZA, which has about 20 miles to run, is booked into 104 ahead of the ASIAN KING. She is not due to leave until 18:00 on Thursday.

Doesnt make any sense unless they've secured an earlier slot. Surely they have been in contact with Southampton? The wind direction is helping them but still, you would just take it steady if it was a friday arrival.

Because it didn't need to pick up a pilot at Brixham or Cherbourg on the way in - therefore the bridge crew are experienced and well qualified.
