2021.36 Audio not working correctly

I have the exact same issue after the “Cold weather improvement” update. I have to reboot a couple times a day. I also noticed the Immersive sound slider disappears when the issue happens. I never noticed a difference with that slider anyway.

Comes back after reboot. Then gone again.

Just got a call from the service guy, they have identified the issue. As a result of 2021.36, they disable the Amp if Sentry mode is on and then Amp doesn’t come back on. 2021.36.5 will address the bug. In meantime, turn off Sentry mode and it should fix it until the update comes down. I have not validated that yet. Hot off the presses.
Happened to me for the first time this morning. Will try the sentry mode thing to see if it helps.

Can verify, I got this as a response for a service ticket I sent in a few days ago. Fixed in 2021.36.5!

I just started having this issue in my Model Y today, but I’m on version 2021.32.21. It does align with the info y’all have been given. I drove from home to work and all was fine because I don’t have sentry mode turn on at either location. Then I went to the grocery store where sentry mode was activated. When I got back in the car the audio was messed up.

I tried two different reset methods with no luck. When I got back home I parked in the garage for about 3-4 hours with sentry mode off. I then went back into the car and the sound was back.

I’m surprised that I’m having this issue on an earlier software version.

If it makes you feel any better, 2021.36.5 is doing it for me too now... guess I'm just turning sentry off.
