2021.4.15 Charging Issues

After upgrading Model 3 to 2021.4.15, charging is taking longer. It appears that the charge regulator is limiting the charge rate after an hour or two of charging at full rate. Wondering if anyone else is experiancing similar issues..? Thoughts/resolution..?

My typical charge approach is as follows:
  • vehicle is plugged in to Tesla Gen3 Wall Connector (60A Breaker for full 48A feed)
  • charge limit set to 90%
  • plug in when charge level is under 30% (typically under 25%)
  • charge set to start at 01:30 a.m. and completes after 4.5 to 5 hours (06:00 a.m.)... roughly 11 kw/hr
  • last two charges (after the upgrade), it appears to charge at 11 kw/hr for the first hour or so then reduces to 6 kw/hr for the remaining period
  • reduced charge translates to charge not ready (i.e. to 90%) at time of morning departure
Following are screenshots of my consumption graphs before and after:

2021-03-19 (start at 01:30 ... 11 kw/hr prior to upgrade):

I upgraded to latest, 2021.4.15, and I'm not seeing a difference. I've only charged once since upgrade, but I'm only at 32A. My hourly is about 8kw, both pre and post upgrade. And a steady rate entire charge, looking at 15 minute intervals.

I'm gonna throw out the standard post-firmware-upgrade-problem question: have you performed a touchscreen reboot (double thumbwheel)? Oddly takes care of a number of gremlins that pop up post-update.

It's a longshot, but always worth trying.

Sounds a lot like an overheating Gen3 HPWC.
