Got update 2021.4.18.10 this morning. 2021 M3LRDM vision only, no radar version. Looks like they just removed the smart summon and speed restrictions for the vision vehicles

How about the following distance restriction being locked at 3 minimum, is that removed too?

Yeah I saw that but “this week” coming from Elon could be any time this year. Looking for some confirmation this is the update he’s referring to since there’s no indication in the release notes we see here.

I just got this update. So far what I noticed. Smart summon is activated, and Fsd max speed now increased to 80 mph.

Haha that is fair, I interpreted that as in the release that just came out is already doing this. Certainly could be wrong.

Sorry, I was at work, I can confirm 80mph autosteer speed now, still 3 car lengths follow distance, smart summon activated, lane assist setting activated, and the setting to go plus x number of mph over the posted speed added... a step I the right direction, but far from what I wanted it to be

Does the smart summon functionality require FSD? I think that's true in earlier releases...

The + over speed limit was always there, but on side-streets the AP was limited to +5 regardless of what you set the TACC to. That was true before Vision, and it'll probably stay true later.

Yep, auto steer allows you to go 80 mph...you still get put in auto pilot jail if you press the accelerator and go faster than 80

We still can't lower the ACC following gap to less than 3. This is the one item I'm missing the most. I don't use it at low speeds, but on the highway, it's essential.

Funny, I had no idea Sentry mode was even broken. I was kind of wondering why my new M3P hadn't triggered Sentry yet. Usually I get 2 or 3 events every trip to the grocery store (in previous M3). I guess now I know why!
