2021 M3 Wired IPhone Connection

Hi all, Sorry if this has been discussed but I couldn’t find it anywhere. I have a new M3 AWD LR and an old iPhone 7 that doesnt support wireless charging. I’d like to neatly place a cable for wired charging but the owners manual instructions for routing a wire doesn’t appear to match the current configuration of the front console, which seems to have 2 usbC ports in the front console but no way to neatly route the wires to the phone tray. Is the ability to access the ports under the phone trays now gone? Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It’s gone, you could try and pop the trim and see if you could route it yourself. Probably better just to upgrade the phone!

It'll certainly cost less to upgrade the phone. Just to get a tech to touch a Tesla will cost a few hundred.
