Could you guys check what the last 6 digits are and maybe share the first 3 or 4 like 845678 is 8456 or 845xxx. And also wether LR, P or SR+
Maybe also the manufacturing date if known.

Posted my VIN over on the spreadsheet set up for that purpose on this thread over here. It's 848,155, ordered 10/31 delivery scheduled 12/9 for a M3 LR AWD MSM. No idea on manufacturing date.

How does one determine the exact manufacturing date? Mine is on the spreadsheet too, but it’s 8368xx, LR, with a VIN date of 11/24/2020. Plate in the driver’s side door jamb only tells me that it was manufactured in 11/20 but not the exact day.

Well you can chat with Tesla on the purchase chat, they will tell you. They will ask you for confirmation of odometer and soc

Thanks for the tip. My car was built on 11/24/2020, same as the VIN date.

I asked the chat rep if she was able to see which battery is installed...she did some checking but didn’t have access to that info. I have to take the car in for service next week (couple small paint issues, broken coat hook, and HomeLink install), so I’ll ask them if I haven’t figured it out myself by then.

I don't think they will know or will be willing to tell you. The only certain way for now is to get scan my tesla OR to supercharge on V3 with warm battery and see if you can pull 230 or 250kW. The LG ones don't seem to be able to do that, capped at 210kW or so.
