seems like about ~5% across the line up. Likely from cell chemistry improvement in Panasonic batteries.
Heat pump might also be included but it helps more with bottom end of the range than top end..
GOod to see all these updates being made.

I wonder what is involved in the efficiency package. Any software trickle down to the existing fleet?

Wonder if heated steering wheel will be retrofittable?

Overall a very good update. Not a huge fan of chrome delete, the new console (based on pics), or the new sport rims, but those are personal preferences. Everything else is undeniably an upgrade.

Any updates on the headlights and taillight changing, that was rumored to change. I wonder if tesla also added sound insulation along with the double pane glass.

The posted times hadn't been updated since before the last free 5% update. I'll be surprised if there's any actual change here, but we'll need to wait for 3rd party testing to know.

Has it been confirmed the range increase is due to the heat pump?

Current M3 owners dont want any change since it will decrease value of their cars. You will hear here "no important changes are made, sound insulation and heat pump are overrated anyway". And i see its already started in other treads

I stuck a $15 heated wheel cover on my 3 works fine. Ugly, but my fingers are warm.

I wish my lease ended sooner. I still have 30+ months left.
Not that I need any of the updates...

No mention of heated steering wheel and heat pump in the official specs/ feature list though. I so wish that both of them are really happening.

I bought it on sale on Woot, so I'm not exactly sure what brand it is, but it kinda looks like this:
    https://www.amazon.com/Zone-Steering-Wheel-Heated-Cover/dp/B00MV4QVWE/ref=sr_1_12?dchild=1&keywords=autorama+heated+steering+wheel+cover&qid=1602890293&sr=8-12

Having said that, there are a ton of heated wheel covers on Amazon, so, you might want to shop around. Now, that I'm looking, I may spring for a more stylish looking one, and give the one I own, to my brother!
