Our 2021 Model S had to have the battery replaced at 17k miles/1.5 years old. It just randomly died in a parking garage one day and that was it. Tesla replaced it under warranty but they cannot disassemble the battery to know exactly what went wrong.
Are others seeing this issue? Kind of ironic for us since we never supercharge, use the Tesla home 240v, always charge to around 80% and never go below 20%. Clearly that didn't matter.
