You are almost a newbie here but I a really happy for you.

I was told that headquarters is working overtime making everyone from the factory, stores and Service centers working tirelessly until the EOQ.
I am happy they did and think that both LR and Plaid models will just keep flowing out going forward.
That was my take from the people I spoke with. Get ready for a lot of deliveries.
@gabeincal’s latest flyover shows the employee parking lots packed with their cars, so yes it appears that Tesla is working overtime to push out the MS in significant numbers. I hope that production doesn’t slow down to a trickle on July 1st.

Has anyone who has taken delivery of a LR posted any pictures? Any 19" delivered yet? I delayed my delivery unknowingly by wanting white interior and 19" wheels for longest distance.... I posted this and did not see the similar request from doubleshot immediately above... piling on...
I haven’t seen anyone on this thread post of a VIN assignment nor delivery of an LR with 19s. The prevailing belief is that the 19s are a choke point.

Greetings from sunny Las Vegas!

New estimated date as of this morning - Jun 29-30.

Was June for a while, before blank (x3, maybe more), before July, before blank (x2)

Feels like progress as its the first time I've had dates show up vs the entire month, but I'll wait for a VIN before getting my hopes up further.

LR Model S - RED, black interior, 21", Original order: 01/07/21, Confirmed Refresh 02/01/21

Finally got estimated delivery for july for the first time after changing to Arachnids wheels .
I know estimated delivery doesn't mean anything important but I believe this would quicker the delivery process

Just an update for everyone going through the process:
  • Received a VIN yesterday evening
  • Spoke with my SA this morning, he said the car is still in Fremont and he’ll work to get the payment form up on my account so I can pay.
  • Looks like I’ll be receiving delivery on the 30th, but we’ll see if that sticks.
  • And for those that have been worried about dates in the account, I wouldn’t lend too much validity to them. Mine went to August, only to go back to June 25-30 with a VIN 24 hours later.

Congrats! Where are you picking up in the OC? My 2/14 MSM/cream/21’s from Costa Mesa is still ghosting BLANK and I haven’t been able to connect with my assigned SA.
I’m actually picking it up at the new Temecula service center. Since I’ll be out that way next week. If you ordered 2/14 you should be close to getting a date. I was blank then august then June in a matter of 3 days. The first thing I got was a text that’s how I knew I had a VIN.

Said it before, that’s me for the white interior. I can handle the 21s and keep them or swap them. Harder to swap out the interior.
Or both in my case. I won’t compromise on the white interior - why should we not get the interior we love and one of the things that makes Tesla stand out when paying this much getting a dream car?

And expense aside, I refuse to lose 10% of my range to bigger wheels just to get the car a little faster

Delivery Day in Massachusetts

LR with 21”, Black and Cream interior, FSD

Delivery was an easy experience, we had no trade in and purchased on a lease….some paperwork to sign and then accept delivery in the Tesla app.

The Black is really strinking with the black door handles and black-ish 21” wheels

Cream interior a nice contrast - and wow the new interior in person is even more engaging than in video/photo…driving position with Yoke is good with lots of visibility - more on yoke later.

The minor design changes, and slightly wider body make an impact especially from the front view.

And yeah the Yoke - well on the road I had pretty much no issues really due to the wonderful videos that the first 25 have posted - thank you all - just following how you have done it made a big difference. I really noticed how easy the Yoke is on the freeway - actually less stress than a full wheel - and the visibility !!!

As the cameras calibrate - some done and some coming - the ’press the scroll wheel for autopilot‘ ideal makes it even easier to turn it on and off regularly in the drive.

Performance. Well Sport mode is fast, and Insane faster..Ive got a draggy on order and will post results early next week, and yes the LR has Drag Strip Mode although I haven’t used it yet.

Some images attached here - any questions let me know
