2021+ Model S LR Delivery Tracking

Ugh, that sucks. I’m pretty worried this is going to happen to me. I’m also a Jan order RN144 MSM black 19s. I’m in my delivery window, which is now Oct. 24-Nov. 14 but every day it pushes back a few days. I wouldn’t be surprised to see it suddenly push to December.

I wonder if they’re not producing MSM or if they’re just screwing over those of us who ordered before all the price increases. It’s super frustrating.

@dschol, is your EDD window still sitting at Oct 24 - Nov 14? Mine is still stuck on Oct 25 - Nov 14.

My EDD starts tomorrow and has remained steady for a month. ideally, I’d like a few days heads up, but I’m guessing I‘ll get a text at 5:30 one night that the car can be picked up by 6.

Updated EDD after yesterday being the first day of my long held EDD. Went from 10/24-11/13 to 11/9-12/7. Went from 20 day range that held for what felt like a month to 28 days.

Updated EDD window today. The earliest date was pushed out, unfortunately. On the plus side, the later date was pulled in. It is the narrowest delivery window I've ever seen on any my Tesla orders. It is now less than 2 weeks range. For Tesla that would be pinpoint accuracy.

This is very interesting because mine got push back to April and instead my model x have a edd now and it’s in January!? I feels like they are push the model x more than the model s now! But I want the model s more come on Tesla!!!

I feel like this same thing happened during the last quarter deliveries right before getting a VIN and EDD moving back in line to where it originally was.. Good luck!

Totally agree with the direct sales approach being better! I'm so happy that Lucid and Rivian are pursuing this method like Tesla.
Nothing against the Mach E itself, but there's nothing like waiting for 20+ weeks for your car to be delivered, and then getting the nasty surprise of a 20k markup:

Posts like these, especially the one from June, tells me that Tesla believes they are going to be getting a lot of parts here in q4 to produce a good amount of cars or, they really hate delivering cars to people who got in on the $79k price tag.

My EDD is still the same but I'm pretty confident Tesla is going to push it back in 5 days.

You have my config (though I have FSD) and my exact EDD dates. We'll see if we get some positive movement today. I, too, am in the midwest.
