So my MS LR order EDD from 06/24/21 is still 4 weeks in April. But my Plaid order from 03/05/22, moved to 4/28-6/9 from 5/12-6/9.
I saw a match to my Plaid order sitting in Portland, build date 03/15. No reason to fulfill my Pre-price increase order obviously.

It seems the people that got the text message are all from California; do we think they’ve stopped assigning vins elsewhere due to EOQ push?

I got the text yesterday at 7:11pm and I live in California 60 miles from Fremont, Dublin and Vallejo. Those are locations where you can pick up cars in this area.

This may be a sign of your VIN coming very soon. Could just be a place holder.

This is my understanding. But it doesn't hurt to call/email/chat with Tesla to confirm.

I am debating on just showing up today at my delivery center and saying "I was in the area and just wanted to see if I could take delivery now instead of tomorrow"
I am obviously very impatient. And frankly I am super busy at work tomorrow but sneaking out to get the car anyway.

RN 1152. Just got bumped, again, today from Apr 23 - May 21 to May 22 - July 3rd.

Ordered June '21. Haven't heard a word from Tesla since the original order.

Yeah I'm a 15 min (or 2 hour drive, depending on how bad 237 is ) drive from the Fremont factory so that checks out.

To 60 it is pretty close, but after 60 the MSLR is much faster hands down! I love this rocket. Then when you want to put the range increase on top of it, if you can afford it, the MS is so far superior. The M3P is still a great car though.

There is one area the MS is far inferior to the M3P or any Tesla with radar Autopilot. Any 2 lane road that semi's or others travel and highways. Autopilot in the MS is almost worthless in the MS with how it currently works and where and how I drive. It is also one of the things I really like about the M3P, I am hopeful this changes soon since the 3 and Y have been using Vision only for awhile now.

If your car is already in the factory and has completed inspection, and you have your payment ready, they should have no issues delivering it. You might need to wait for them to clean it up but I think it's the inspection that needs to be completed. No harm in asking. I have heard people getting a day early delivery after request.
