2021 Model S Plaid water leak into headlight?

After car wash I noticed the headlights had a thin layer of liquid near the front edge. The liquid dissipated after 30 minutes. I did not notice any condensation unlike the fog light covers

Is this water leakage due to poor headlight housing seal?

SC just responded that frontal headlights are not completely sealed to allow the headlight to breathe, and slight humidity is normal. It is out of spec if water condensation start to form.

Is this substantiated? I never heard of the need to allow headlights to breathe in any other vehicles

This discussion stated that Gore membranes are used in vehicles, with an example of a non-Tesla taillight. But, is this also used for headlights, which houses LED using significantly higher power?

Having a "not completely sealed" headlight is kind of bizarre - how is someone supposed to clean the inside of that? I guess since both of your headlights have this effect, it's by design - just a weird decision.
