2021 Model S (Refresh) Tips & Hidden Features

Wanted to start a thread for hidden/little known features and tips for the refreshed Model S. One of the nice things I discovered is that the front door pockets are perfectly crafted to hold 20-24 ounce metal water bottles freeing up the cup holders. I use the Contigo Autoseal stainless steel bottles and they are a perfect fit.

Would like to hear other lesser known features.

We didn't notice it until we had our Plaid for several days but the fold-down armrest in the back seat actually has a small storage compartment in it, behind the cup holders. We hadn't seen or heard about this in the two months since the first deliveries. Not huge, but a surprise!

You can use the PRND on the center phone holder without using the screen.

Might be obvious to some, but when using voice to have a message conversation with a contact, you can use the steering wheel voice button and/or the button on the screen. I had been using the on screen button (blue microphone) and find using the steering wheel more convenient.

Not really a feature but I was pleasantly surprised to see the sun visors are magnetic, so no rattling from there
