I woke up this morning to a VIN! I'm one of the lucky ones whose EDD has remained pretty steady since I ordered on 8/8. The EDD was initially in October, but pushed to November and only pushed one more time (and narrowed to a 2-week window) about 5 days before I received my VIN. My EDD is now 12/5-12/8.

MS Plaid Black/White CF 21's no FSD

RN11541
VIN NF4590XX

Haven't heard from Tesla yet, but hope to have the pickup locked in soon!

They must be making black exteriors right now. My new EDD starts today. Hoping to get a VIN within the next few days.

I too got a VIN today on my black/white plaid ordered 8/13/21 but i'm conflicted as I also have an X Plaid black/white on order with January EDD. I ordered both bc i wasn't sure which one i wanted and figured i would just take whichever came first. I have a 2018 X P100D now which i would be replacing.

Ahhh, decisions, decisions.

RN1154
VIN NF459

How do I tell if its a 2022 or not?

The letter preceding "F" (for Fremont) denotes year. MF meant 2021 from Fremont, and NF means 2022 from Fremont. So you've scored a '22 model! :)

Friends, my second VIN still has the frunk liner visible on the hood gaps. Can anyone take a look at their frunk and see if the liner is visible just up to but not over the fender? I am inclined to believe this is normal.

Mine is the same way. I was sure to note it on my initial service request so they have it as an issue in their system. Seems like the liner is slightly too wide for the space causing it to flare up along the edges.
