Had a minor update to share!
Was able to schedule pickup on 2/12 after receiving a text from tesla on Friday night asking me to select from a window of 2/11 - 2/13.
Also visited the Richmond, VA delivery center yesterday for a test drive of the Model Y performance. They even let me take a peek at an inventory black plaid w/ white interior…it was pretty cool!!

That inventory black plaid has been there for over a month now.
Interesting that I haven't received a text yet but you have. They already told me that my delivery time would be 9th/10th.
They are planning to do a same day delivery for me since my car sat at the factory for 17 days.
Well I am going to take some time off the forum, seeing so many white interiors getting delivered is no fun!!! not sure how you 1149 and below guys didnt go nuts this whole time LOL. I'll check in couple times a week or if i get a VIN

Hmmmm, that’s odd
The EDD was showing 2/4-2/18 as recently as last Thursday night and I woke on Friday morning to an email saying that the VIN was assigned and the updated EDD of 2/8-2/14.
That same evening they texted me.

I really think you would have a VIN if your car were built and loaded for transport, but what do I know?

I think my issue is that I had myself matched to a car that was set for inventory in another state. It's probably on a truck that's not being tracked my Richmond SC. My best option is probably just calling and keeping track because they sure as hell aren't trying to help me.Hmmmm, that’s odd

Based on the notification I got from the SA that my car shipped on Monday, I'm betting that my car was one of the blue ones remaining in the lot! Pumped!
Very possibly! I'm hoping mine hasn't quite been made yet to maximize my chance for new headlights. Crazy that we've gotten no further updates on that!
