Ordered day after battery day with delivery window 11-18 to 12-18. Received text yesterday 3-5 weeks which puts it 12/18 to 12/30. Will push delivery into 2021 at this point t as Tesla keeps lowering my trade value and hoping for new tax credit

MSM AWD 18 Black. Northeast.

Just to update you guys...

After phone call from delivery specialist, I got a call from the SC that I'm picking up from a few hours later. He told me car is going to arrive there 11/26 and I could come pick it up Saturday or Sunday.

He recommended Sunday due to Thanksgiving and in case the truck drivers delay unloading the car so yeah... I'm picking up Sunday morning!

Congrats! Seems like we’re getting some of the first LRs...my delivery appointment is on Sat. I’ll use summon to unload it from the truck myself if it’s not ready! :)

Yeah. I tried out a quote in CARVANA a few days ago and it was not bad. If Tesla “low balls” me I might consider just going with them. I have a never done it before, so I am somehow hesitant. I sense they will end up “low balling” me also or charging a hidden fee or anything to bring down the quote.
It’s the real deal. I’ve sold 2 Tesla’s to them this year. As long as you are truthful about condition the carvana person comes with a check made out already. She drove it around my neighborhood for about 2 minutes and gave me a check for more than I payed after incentives. It was too easy.

True story. I was hesitant about Carvana. I'm 5 miles from one of their car kiosks. After checking, they were the best price for my 2017 Prius Prime. I went on-line and it said I was "out of market" IE too far away to pickup at my house and it had to be with in 50 miles or something. I knew that was crap. So I called and found out it was a web site bug. You do have to be within 50 miles of their "hub" which is not the kiosk. Once I put my info in and uploaded the required docs, They contacted me in 1 hour and picked it up at my driveway the next morning. They handed me the check and I gave them the title. It was the easiest thing I ever did. Nothing hidden or withheld. Since you're in Jenks you'd have to meet them somewhere in their pickup radius.

Question about your VIN delay. Have you completed all your steps on your account page?

I just ordered a CHAdeMO adapter since we like to get off the interstate.

Tesla just sent out the new trade In quote and I am actually surprised they are honoring the initial quote, so I’m going with it.
Yes, I have completed all steps (since 10/23), I have asked my SA several times if I should be doing anything else from my side and she has repeatedly said “no”. My loan quote also expired, but that will be an easy fix since I already have a good relationship with my bank.

I actually had the wall connector delivered already along with a 14-30 adapter to use at my cousin’s house in Texas and a friend in OKC, which are the places we frequently visit. Planning on using Superchargers if I go past Dallas to Houston.

That's great that they stuck with the original quote. Just trying to think of anything like I know you've already done 100 times. I bet you get a VIN tomorrow. Check your SPAM folder. ;)

I knew I'd need the CHAdeMO because of al the out of the way places we visit like Terilingua, TX, Ouray, CO, anywhere SE of Mcalister (grin), or even driving east on I-40. Expensive @ $450, but a good long term investment.

My wife is ordering a M3 AWD LR in Blue in January. She wants to play with mine first.

If they low ball you, check out Carvana. Because of the pandemic, used car prices are very high. Carvana beat everyone else by $2,500 on my daily driver last month. They beat Vroom, KBB, and Carmax. Tesla trade-in was closest.

This. I sold two cars to Carvana last year; they beat out my trade-in estimate by ~$3,000/car. Sure, I could have waited it out and probably gotten more selling private party, but it was so freakin' easy with Carvana.
